Professional Background

Eric Antunez specializes in assisting injured Texans with personal injury and criminal law cases. Prior to starting Antunez Law Firm, he gained extensive experience in personal injury law while working as an attorney and office manager at the Law Office of Domingo Garcia in Tyler and in insurance litigration while practicing law at Allen & Thauwald, P.C.

Eric is also a sports agent for soccer players in the USL and MLS as well as aborad. He is the founder and partner of A5 Sports

Professional Education

Eric earned his undergraduate degree from Tyler Junior College (TJC) and the University of Texas at Tyler, where he was recognized on the Dean’s List for academic excellence, participated in the Student Government Association, and was accepted into the UT Tyler Master’s program while preparing for the Law School Admissions Test. During this period, he gained valuable insights into the civil court system by working with local trial attorney Joseph Balfour. Eric received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from South Texas College of Law Houston in December 2019. While in law school, he was part of the ABA Negotiations team and gained practical experience in personal injury litigation at the Webster Law Firm, P.C.

Personal Background and Interests

Having lived in Tyler for 20 years, Eric graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 2009, where he met his wife, Nadine, a German exchange student. They married at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Flint, Texas, and both of their sons were born at Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler. In addition to his legal career, Eric is a sports agent representing soccer athletes around the world. On any given day, you can find him in court, on a soccer field, enjoying time at the pool with his family, or savoring a meal at Stanley’s BBQ.
